The first of eight month long exhibitions, opening on March 1st, 2024 from 5:00—9:30 PM PST, during the Abbot Kinney First Fridays as part of the Forecast Foundation partnership with The Abbot located at 1421 Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California. ‘Impermanence’ is curated by Forecast Founding Member Emily Colvin in order to, “honor and challenge the temporality of shared present-futures.”

The future begins now. And now. And now again. It waits for you in every approaching breath. Bending time in order to experience the future is possible by fully embracing the fleeting impermanence of the present. The constant flow of time is an eliminatory gift, freeing the receiver from the commitment of permanence and offering variable trajectories towards interminable potential futures.
